Today in Gear is our daily roundup of all the latest product announcements, drops and news from Gear Patrol Studios.

Your next Walmart purchase may be delivered via drone. In a report from Axios, the megastore will be kickstarting "America's first large-scale drone operation" with six cities serving as the first sites as the initiative expands to a total of 34 cities and towns by the end of 2022. Specifically Walmart's DroneUP will be expanding to Phoenix, AZ; Tampa and Orlando in Florida; Salt Lake City, UT; Dallas, TX and Richmond, VA. Interestingly, the products available for drone delivery are expanding too; earlier iterations had a restricted list of drone-shippable items, now that list of items has expanded to over 100,000 in all.

Ciele Athletics notes that its newest cap is designed "with race day in mind," and it might be the biggest understatement of the year. Cut into a lower-profile silhouette than previous Ciele caps like the FSTCap, this newest iteration, whose full name is RDCap SC – C Speed - Elemental, is packed with features that'll keep you comfortable and in top form all the way through the finish line. Its pre-curved SOFTcurve brim, four-way stretch and welded back seam improve fit and reduce pressure points, while knit mesh and UPF 40 protection on the brim and front panel keep you safe and cool.

We'll be up front: The draw for Aimé Leon Dore's latest New Balance collab (an exceedingly tasteful, grayed-out Made in USA 990v2) opened and closed as of end-of-day yesterday. The reason we wanted to highlight it today is simple: When you make a sneaker that looks this good, you'll want to keep your eyes peeled for any pairs on the secondary market when it releases in full. While the 990 model has often represented the best of New Balance tech as it goes in higher and higher "version" numbers (we're currently on "v6"), we love that Aimé Leon Dore founder Teddy Santis is celebrating these retro iterations.

Inspired by a WWII-era naval watch, Hamilton's Khaki Navy Frogman watch has a rugged legacy that matches its utilitarian aesthetic. This retooled model features a 46mm case (in either black PVD or stainless steel) and — as expected, thanks to its name — is water-resistant up to 300 meters with a Super-LumiNova dial for low-light diver visibility.

Logitech's Master Series adds two new keyboards — the MX Mechanical and the MX Mini — and the MX Master Mouse. Designed to emphasize the physical sensation of typing (or in the case of the mouse, clicking and moving a mouse), the keyboards have swappable key switches for a customized feel, and 10 months of battery life (as long as you prioritize keeping the backlight off).

As part of its work with the Detroit-based brand, Crate & Barrel has added new, summer-ready pieces to its collaboration with Shinola. Additions include pillows made with yarns (recycled from plastic bottles) to a waxed cotton apron and a four-piece barbecue tool set (with teak wood handles and accompanying cotton canvas roll case). If better weather has you eyeing an upgrade to your outdoor gear, this is a great place to start.
